The
outline around each image is done with a wood burner and then I paint with
an acrylic wash to look like a stain. This technique (of the wood burning combined with
an acrylic wash) is a very unique look.
Everything is coated with several layers of varnish for a glossy, finished look.
The tables shown here are original designs and will not be duplicated.

dimensions w&d: 16" (square top) ht: 25". Barnyard animals....there's a sheep, a bull, a pig, a horse & more! And a lady bug & a rat are hiding out in the border that surrounds the top. Leg colors are pink, blue, yellow and green.
You might think that this table belongs with the children's furniture but I think it's the kind of piece that everyone should own. I get a lot of feedback at the shows that I do and I think more people are starting to understand why I create certain pieces like this one. You won't find this anywhere else & people who admire it in your home will recognize that. |

Outline of images burned into the wood with a wood burner. Then it was painted with acrylic, which was wiped off, so you can see the grain of the wood through it. It resembles a colored stain. Several coats of varnish applied when painting was done.

dimensions top is 12" x 12" x 30" tall. On the top of the table is a image that I designed. It is (from outside in) gold daisies, colored triangle shapes, dolphins, a wave and in the center is a sun. Please click on the pictures to look at the detail. It may look like there are imperfections in the paint in some of the detail pictures but this is reflections from the high gloss finish. |

It turned out to be quite a gorgeous piece. There are 2 different colors on each leg (a total of 8 colors on the legs alone) so it would accent any room no matter what the color scheme. The daisies are carried out down one leg and the triangles are carried out down the opposite leg. |
